I said blanky once and got so embarrassed and immediately corrected myseld. thankfully the nurse understood I was in a psychotic episode and said it was OK to want a blanky. I cant understand how they deal with the embarrassment of using the term on purpose

Hey! So age regression however intenional or unintentional can actually help a lot of people’s mental states when they aren’t doing great! If they’re in harm’s way, thats an issue. If they’re coping in a way that’s slightly unconventional but otherwise harmless, that’s perfectly fine and if it’s helping them feel better, it shouldn’t be judged.

I was in the middle of potty training my toddler last year and was asking this lady if she needed to potty every time I rounded and she goes “what? Am I 4?” No ma’am but my son is 😅
