pls no soaking it in homemade saltwater is like the worse thing you can do for it i got otzi piercing spray (orange bottle) kept it on me and would spray it and wipe it wt a cotton pad probs like 6 times a day or more and mine sorted itself out in a week it was so angry before ans shes stunning now. DO NOT SOAK tho pal

I exclusively soaked my belly button pericing when I got it. I even layed back so the top could soak too. It healed beautifully. Helped to get all the crusties off 🤷

I was 13 when I got mine done and then hurricane Ike happened and my aunt had an In ground pull and I didn’t know her pool was filled with salt water after the hurricane and it completely healed my belly button I was so mad

you're not supposed to soak piercings anymore nor make your own saline per the association of professional piercers. "soaking" is submerging the piercing which is a huge no no as it can cause moisture bumps etc and when making your own saline its far too easy to get the salt ti water ration too strong which dries out and irritates a piercing. the APP much more widely recommends the saline sprays with the only ingredients being 0.9% sodium chloride and water and letting it air dry. twice a day
