@andromedasvoice: I’ve seen this question several times in my nail polish video, so I thought I’d address it! Allah would never reject a believer for wearing nail polish at the time of death. This is fear-based Islam!! #muslimahtiktok #islamicteachings #muslimah #islamicreminder #creatorsearchinsights
what abouy press ons? i dont do acrilycs. I have given up on them so my next best thing are press ons with glue... but idk im afraid.

I honestly can’t put into words how relieved and happy I am to see that there are Muslims who think the way I do. For the longest time, I thought I was losing my sanity or that maybe I was a bad Muslim for questioning certain things.
Don’t get me wrong I genuinely believe Islam is the truth, and I am proud to be Muslim. But when I look around, so much of the religion seems to be reduced to “this is haram” and “that is haram.” It sometimes feels like almost everything is forbidden. Of course the Hereafter is important, but is that really all our lives are supposed to be about? Allah placed us on this earth too. I believe we’re also meant to live, appreciate His blessings, and experience joy in this life.
What I find especially striking is that so many of the things constantly labeled as haram seem to revolve around women. Eyebrows, nail polish, and so on. And when you really stop and think about some of these rulings, they simply don’t make sense to me.
For example, why would the Almighty reject a woman’s du’a just because she’s wearing nail polish? It’s literally dead tissue with a layer of polish on it. Why would that make my wudu invalid? Is wudu really weaker than a thin layer of nail polish? I genuinely struggle to understand the reasoning behind that.
I also remain unconvinced that every hadith attributed to the Prophet ﷺ is necessarily authentic or should be understood in the way many people present them today.
Seeing more Muslims openly asking sincere questions and searching for the true essence of Islam gives me hope. I believe faith should inspire us to think, reflect, and grow closer to Allah not to live in constant fear that every ordinary part of life is somehow haram.

Not to mention that the Quran tells us numerous times that we will not bear the burden of another. Even if there was a ‘correct’ ritual for burying someone, you have no say in that.. because you’re dead. Why would you get punished for someone else messing up your burial? Sometimes people underestimate the attributes of God so much, especially how merciful and understanding He is.

also simply because we are judged by OUR actions.
We can not be judged by the actions of another person, what THEY are doing to our body after we die.

Hang on. No one says that they have to be washed. People die In war. They don’t get washed. Who said anything about nail polish being haram. It’s states only when praying. Not when dying.

Completely agree with you.. unfortunately we have reduced Islam to petty criteria rather than embracing the deeper way of life it teaches. Love the content 🥰

Yes omg, thank you for this and for all of your videos. I say this at every Muslim gathering and people look at me like I’m crazy. I often feel real Islam has been distorted and hijacked and reduced down to meaningless stuff!
