people still don’t know what sanji means. sanji just has great emotional intelligence and clearly understood from what he observed via robins behaviour prior to this line, which was her acting abnormal, so he knew there was more to it than her simply “betraying the crew.” not once did it imply he forgives every single lie a woman says, he isn’t even justifying that a woman lying about cheating/ something like that, is not the same as a woman lying to protect her friends (robin), it’s clear to see which action should be forgiven (robins). and to make it better, sanji was proven right, because i’m sure YOU ALL forgave robin when you realised it wasn’t a betrayal. he also does this with viola and pudding later in the series, different but similar… anyways 💔

people who misunderstood!!! In this scene robin lied to the crew but sanji saw through her and realised she’s probably lying for a reason, later he discovers she actually lied to protect them. he’s basically saying sometimes a woman lies for a reason, to protect herself or others, and a man should understand and respect that instead of assuming their worst intentions. lying was the only thing robin could do to protect the crew in that moment and he knew her heart was in the right place. but some people think this is about justifying cheating when the context is completely different
