this is the biggest concept people don’t understand: men don’t own masculinity. as a femme my whole life i’ve always been attracted to masculine women and i just love the juxtaposition in a relationship. i think masculinity is so hot in a woman and it’s ok to embrace that. so yes like god forbid a masc wants to be masculine it’s totally ok and it’s not like the love and care isn’t reciprocated, just a masc likes to be a caretaker and i think that’s beautiful. again MEN DONT OWN MASCULINITY ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

honestly always hated this debate bc the way it's set up always framed butches as "princesses in boys clothes" when that's just not how butches work. the vast majority, if not all, butches do want to be treated "like a man" in a relationship, and that gets ignored and replaced by people who only see women who put on cargo shorts and call it a day complaining
