All I can say is know your limits . My mother kept having them admit her in hospital when she was so sick. Turns out one more round of chemo she was scheduled for would have done her in. I forget but some number was really high on her. She didn’t do the last treatment and she still is 6 years cancer free. She saved herself . Just do what you can do, that’s all you can do and then let Jesus. Don’t forget you can ask for a case worker that can also help fight to help you better manage pain and symptoms.

Ask for IV hydration because cisplatin can be hard on your kidneys it is very important to stay hydrated. Ask for other types of nausea medicine bc you should not be vomiting. Keep your mouth moist if you can with sips of water or over-the-counter products like biotin. The doxorubicin is known for causing mouth sores, which usually appear within a week of having it. Make sure they have you eating ice when they administer it to you. Let me know if I can help you in anyway. I am a BCOP.
