I've been playing guitar since 2019 and I'd still consider myself an intermediate guitarist. I like to play and learn songs I like, I don't like to practice. You can become an amazing guitarist in a year if you practice hours a day. It's all about practice

I think ppl forget that being mid at guitar will actually take you a long way. nothing to be ashamed of imo. consistent practice will take you even further too

that's true and discouraging sometimes, especially when you begin your journey, I feel like the first year is tough and then you just realize how much u love it and don't think about it anymore just keep practicing
