Just a thought what if protein is code for trauma and Pink telling Kris that cats are good at finding protein means they can sense fear and trauma which could also correlate to the whole forgotten man being kris’s therapist being blocked by a tree and the “eggs” being bits of trauma kris carries with them (until the turn into actual eggs in the light world)💀

Everybody’s connecting the protein line to the eggs cause it only occurs when you’ve collected them, but I have a different interpretation. People believe that the eggs are bait to lure FRIEND towards Kris, but it’s more believable that they’re there to distract them from Kris…after all, are humans not protein?
