I am SO excited to release this YVR Girl Remix because it was such a full circle moment and I feel like not many people know that I’m born and raised in Vancouver! Remember the guy that I asked to carry me on the street? Well we were talking and told me he had this song called YVR Girl that came out in 2021. So I searched up the song on Spotify and I remember seeing clips of that song on the clock app 5 years ago and I thought to myself, I really like that song, and it’d be cool to make music like that one day But at the time I was busy building my business and I was in a completely different niche. Fast forward to 5 years later, I meet Terell and he tells me he’s been wanting to get a girl to do the remix version of YVR Girl. I got to writing right away and channeled my inner YVR Girl 😜. I wrote this for the YVR Girls, so even though I don’t resonate with all of the lyrics, the fun part about writing is that sometimes you write for other people. #vancouverbc #vancouvercanada #vancouverlife #vancity #yvr
