Well it’s not fifa. It’s the fairmont who decided to do that. I think they’re charging because of the influx of people which is valid because when I went it was PACKED and it’s unsafe. They should reserve for their hotel guests tbh. Unfortunately they have to do crowd control somehow and the only way is through payment and exclusivity.
