I’ve never EVER seen a loan get denied for medical debt. He’s actually right. The creditors try to scare you into paying but in reality it’s a nothing burger.

Medical collections don’t even stop you from buying a home, they literally aren’t even part of debt to income calculations. Never pay unless you need to increase your score.
