social apathy has become way too normalized here its insane. the privileged and out of touch will always be willing turn a blind eye and cast aside the impoverished just to remain in their ignorant bliss, all while living on the backs of people who dont know/cant do any better. it's so easy to not realize your privilege and say "just work hard and get rich," not understanding the circumstances and the inherent nature of the households some people were born into makes that route infinitely harder. how can they do that when they work their hours barely making enough per day to even scrape by? not even account for the incrased health risks in their conditions. they worship it yet dont realize colonial capitalism has completely destroyed our culture and turned us against eo, because thats how you survive in this kind of economy with this severe a class disparity.
