I really hate that it's expected for these grown men to give their caught balls to the nearest kid. Can't those grown men be happy? Why is a kid's happiness worth more? Unless they punched the kid in order to get the ball, they should get to keep it

Hot take if I caught a ball and I was sitting next to a child and my 76 year old dad who has been a Mets fan since day one of the team, has been to a million games, but has never caught a ball, I’m 100000% giving it to my dad. Sorry.

You think this video is nice? bring a few balls to the game. Everytime you see someone that just lost that ball, go over and give one, say I grabbed this earlier. You got your ball! The memories for them will never fade.
