I realised i was asexual a while ago but never considered being aromantic just because I wanted to fall in love so bad. In January I got into a relationship with one of my closest friends thinking that strong feeling when I was with her was romantic love except it never was romantic, I lied to her and to myself for seven months, the breakup wasn’t easy and I lost a beautiful friendship. Now in working on acceptance but i’m also grieving something i always wanted that i will never have. Sorry for the long rant but I don’t have anyone to talk about this

Which I learned later on doesn’t count as having a crush… I have also never felt romantic love.
