This little rash on my baby’s face is called baby acne (also known as newborn hormonal rash). It usually shows up around 3–6 weeks old and looks like tiny red dots, bumps, or white pimples — just like on the video. It’s NOT an allergy, not from formula, and not from anything on the skin. It happens because hormones from pregnancy are leaving the baby’s system. It can get worse before it gets better, spread on cheeks, chin, neck, even the chest. It doesn’t hurt the baby and usually goes away on its own in a few weeks. No treatment needed — just gentle washing and don’t pick or squeeze.
