As a teacher, if this is you now, imagine how the teacher felt having to scrub that off your child. Then it smears all down the leg. Gets on the floor. Then the kid touches you for balance. You had the better end I promise.

As a daycare teacher I always call parents to let them know I have thrown away their child’s bottoms if I gag while cleaning it, it’s respectfully going into the trash parents are always understanding and would rather have them throw away!!

I use to work at a day care…. We’re not about to wash or scrape anything.. they get sent home with a note. But somehow parents still get upset. 🙄 damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Daycare teachers never catch a break.

Ma’am… one time I had a stomach virus go around in my toddler room… in a potty training toddler room.. you bet your bottom dollar I packed that shit in bags and sent them straight home. I was not about to clean 5-7 undies(of the lucky few that got sick) only for mom to get onto me for sending them in the first place. After that, parents just told me to throw them away. 😂

Former daycare teacher here! It is technically against DHS rules to throw the turd in the trash, they consider that “cross contamination”. They literally want us to put it all in the plastic baggie for you to deal with. I know sooo gross but she was just doing what she was told! If my boss wasn’t around I would throw the turd in the trash cause who wants a bag full of poop stinking up the classroom! 😂

By state regulations we aren’t allowed to clean them. I will admit if it’s a solid piece that’s not stuck I will dump it into the toilet but if it’s squished in then it all goes into the bag. Some parents will ask us to dispose of the entire thing if it’s really bad which I have done on occasion.

as a preschool teacher, what do you expect us to do? if a parent doesn't tell us to throw dirty underwear..we do what we can 🤷♀️if its solid..ye dump in the toilet. but my 18.75/hr is not enough to be scraping a loose bm out of underwear, no matter how much i love those kids.

DHHS doesn’t allow us to dispose of the waste from cloth diapers, underwear or training pants. The whole poop situation goes right home-Maine.

So many of you are hard pressed 😂 for context, the turd was a surprise, my son is not even 2, and tbh, I didn’t know what to expect when toilet training clothes came home but this definitely was not a full turd that could’ve been turned inside out and into the toilet. My question from the beginning had been “whyyyyy?” As I don’t understand the logic. Further to that, I’m a first time mami and also 19 weeks pregnant so my handling of this crime scene isn’t as glamorous as you want it to be.

Daycare teacher here, I will turn them over and dump out as much as I can but we can’t rise out the undies in our classroom.. I always ask my parents if they would just like me to throw away the undies if they have BM and most parents prefer me throwing them away! I promise we hate sending home pooping undies just as much as you do receiving them!

Okay I’m not gonna lie as a daycare teacher, I throw the turd away and if it’s too far squished and gross I throw it away. I have yet to have a parent get mad, they say thank you 😂

I knew the parents who would get mad if I threw them away but over half of them I’d be like they was horrible I threw them away and nine times outta ten they be like okay I would’ve done the same ain’t no reason in stinking up the whole room like that 😅
