Give them a try 🙌 Ingredients (Makes 6, about 7 cm each) -400g potatoes -A pinch of salt -5~6 tbsp milk (adjust as needed) -4 tbsp potato starch (or corn starch) -Cheese, as much as you like
-oil as needed Sauce -1½ tbsp soy sauce -2 tbsp sake or mirin -1 tbsp sugar -1 tbsp water Topping -Butter (optional) Method ①Cut the potatoes into chunks and cook until tender. ＊Boil, steam or microwave, whatever you prefer. ②While the potatoes are still hot, mash them with the salt and milk. Add the potato starch and mix well. ③Wet your hands, shape the potato mixture into discs, place some cheese in the centre, then close, seal and shape into balls.
＊Make sure the cheese is completely sealed inside so it doesn't leak out. ④Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook until both sides are golden. Pour in the mixed sauce and coat evenly. ⑤Transfer to a plate and top with butter, if desired.
