@5speedmotorsports: At 1:19 AM, Nanko Minami was already packed with drift cars, spectators and traffic. There were no barriers, no marshals and no safety zones, just one car after another entering the intersection. The variety was incredible. Fresh cars like the JZX110 Mark II mixed with heavily damaged Silvias, 180SXs and RX-7s. Drift team stickers covered the windows, tires were worn down to the belts and some body panels barely looked attached anymore. The most dramatic moment came when an RX-7 clipped the gutter and crashed into a palm tree.
