I saw an article that said that in the Ft Myers/Cape Coral area 47% of all domiciles in that area (condos, houses, apartments) are empty and they’re still building down there. Lakeland (near where I live) is still building development after development and nobody is moving into the houses. It’s ridiculous at this point

Wages are not keeping pace with house prices or the cost of living, it’s all being funnelled into the pockets of a very small group that own everything.
