Sunday was a name given by the pagans to the first day of the week because it was the day on which they worshipped the sun. Sun worship was common in Egypt, Babylon, Persia, and Rome. Babylon, which appears in both the Old and New Testaments (Ezekiel and Revelation 17 and 18), is indicated in Ezekiel 8:16, a crucial principle defining Babylon: "Then he brought me into the inner court of the house of the Lord; and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east, and they worshipped the sun toward the east." The Assyrians worshipped the sun god Shaash. The Egyptians worshipped the sun god Amon Ra. The Hittites worshipped the sun god Arinna. The Konark sun wheel is known throughout India. The Norse Trundholm chariot was the Viking symbol of sun worship. Helios of Greece and Mithras of Persia were worshipped by multitudes as sun gods. Satan exalted the created object above the Almighty Creator and throughout the millennia false religion has its origins in sun worship. The Roman Empire, Emperor Aurelian and his mother a sun priestess were devoted to sun worship and Sunday was sanctified and dedicated as a sun festival to the pagan god Mithra. The Roman government and the Roman church merged in an attempt to Christianize the pagans and unify the empire. The little horn emerges from the Roman Empire in the early centuries of the Christian church with a man as leader. In an attempt to appease the pagans who were entering the church in large numbers, and to make Christianity more acceptable in the Roman Empire, this Roman power would attempt to change God's times and law. The Roman emperor, Constantine, a sun worshipper, chose the sun god Apollo, and called Sunday "the venerable day of the Sun" dedicated to Balder, the Christian Sunday. The emperor issued a decree in 321 AD day and ordered, "Let the magistrates and people who live in the cities rest on the venerable day of the Sun and let all the shops be closed."

The Roman church, the bishops met at Laodicea and issued a decree that "Christians shall not Judaize [that is, they shall not keep the Sabbath] and lay it down on a Saturday." (Council of Laodicea 325 AD) Here the church council says: We forbid Christians to rest on the Sabbath. However, if they are found to be Judaizing [keeping the Sabbath], they will be cut off from Christ." The Bible makes this clear. (Daniel 7:25)... "he will try to change times and laws." There is another point of contention, even to this day. The Roman church and the Christian leaders want to distance themselves from Judaism, they said and felt that the seventh-day Sabbath was "Jewish" and because of the anti-Semitic feeling throughout the Roman Empire and even today, they did not want to be identified with the Jews. "Fundamentalists meet on Sundays to worship, yet there is no evidence that corporate worship should have taken place on Sundays. The Jewish, God's, Sabbath or day of rest was of course Saturday. It was the Catholic Church that decided that Sunday should be the day of worship for Christians in commemoration of the resurrection." (Catholicism and Fundamentalism, page 38). The Catholic Mirror of September 23, 1893, stated, "The Catholic Church, for more than a thousand years before the existence of a Protestant, by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday." The Church and tradition take the place of the Bible, and the fact that Sunday is accepted proves that the Bible is not fully accepted, but with the acceptance of Sunday the authority of the Roman Catholic Church is accepted. This power is blasphemy, for according to the Bible, blasphemy occurs when an earthly power or man appropriates for himself the privileges and precedence that belong to God and attempts to change God's times and law. 30) "We are not stoning you for a good work, but for blasphemy, and because you, being a man, make yourself God." (John 10:33).

The TRUE system, 6) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man come unto the Father, but by me." (John 24:6) is the center of the one system. It is silently based upon what the Holy Word of God teaches us. And the TRUE Church is pictured in Revelation 12 as the Woman clothed with the sun. Her doctrines are pure; she is loyal to her Master. God wants a Church, His people, and children who live in harmony with the truth in His Holy Word. The woman of Revelation 12 represents God's true, visible Church on earth, His faithful people throughout the ages. 17) "...They that keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." (Revelation 12:17). 12) "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Revelation 14:12) 14) "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city".(Revelation 22:14) What will you tell God on this 👇🏻 Sabbath day👇🏻??? God demands 100% obedience and faith. No Thanks God I be back on Sunday God says: 17) "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth..."(Isaiah 65:17) 22) "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23) And from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 66:22, 23). As long as God the Holy Father, Jesus Christ is the only way and savior, and the Holy Spirit exists, the HOLY SABBATH WILL exist and that is how important God's creation seventh day SABBATH is for ALL eternity. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13).
