Reductionist argument that assumes all taxes go into the array of benefits listed in the video. Presumably the infrastructure you use, the pension you work for etc, are benefits also built on tax revenues. I’m all for questioning our position against the elite, but it’s quite counterintuitive to antagonize the lower classes that are just as vulnerable

kids of lower middle class workers na almost zero yung scholarship opportunities and walang access sa educational aids watching voluntarily-unemployed 4ps members and rich people with government connections easily get them🧍(highest honor graduate na na-reject sa multiple MERIT scholarships kc 300k yung gross income ng buong household. dalawang college students at dalawang senior citizens yung sinusuportahan ng nanay ko hahshhshs i almost took a gap year hahhahs)

My parents and I are middle class workers. Kinakaya naman ang mga bayarin, wala akong anak (and never magkakaroon ng anak) na sinusustento, nakakakain ng 3 meals a day at makakapag-meryenda pa, and nakakapag-splurge paminsan but always nasa isip ko na I am ONE, just one, Hospital Bill away from being poor. Even our savings combined and insurances, we are always 1 Hospital Bill away from being poor sa ekonomiya na ito.
