If you get one of those electric hedgehogs. And throw the shock grenade on top of it. It’ll stun them and kick them out of the water and they super easy to catch

Better bait and fishing poles help, also if you can get a gloopie pal it slows the decay rate when your bar isn’t lined up with the fish. This makes it less likely to snap off the line

Whalaska ignis (slightly higher base percent than whalaska when comparing), gloopie, jelliette, and a solmora or solmora lux. Theres also a legendary depresso schematic you can fish up.

Yeah, the fishing in this game is stupid.Just like in seventy six and just like in stardew valley , it's the worst thing about most of these games , but there's a lot of problems with pal world other than it's fishing
