this is such a universal experience! i failed like never before my first year bc i never realized how different college was from high school. i too was male centered and struggled with adhd but what changed my perspective was the fact that i wanted to do more with myself than be wasted potential. passing by the hood on my way to work/school reminded me that i wasn’t where i wanted to be. i love that u shared this
