In Sweden they teach three seconds rule instead of two seconds. It's way more safer and they also say a good distance is about the speed you travel in meters. 100 km/h = 100 meters in distance to the vehicle ahead. Don't live one the margins, be safe!

This is how my dad and uncle taught me in America. Our power poles are roughly 100 ft apart… so they taught me, “your turn signal should be on 3-4 power poles before your turn.” But I think I’m the only person in Florida that actually uses a turn signal.
