I started making my own custom press ons, but I also realize going to get your nails done is a luxury, something that requires disposable income. I understand price increase because of supply, demand, inflation, skill of actual nail techs & time spent on a custom manicure but if I go to an actual salon, I research and go to one that's highly recommended by a trusted family member or friend. But PRYING OFF??? NEVER.

Many are not legal salons. The licenses are fake…. They didn’t go to school and magically work under one true licensed tech in the salon.

I got fed up, so I grew my natural nails out and paint them myself. Over time, you become quite adept and have salon quality results. Or better bc the nails aren’t so thick 🤷‍♀️
