"𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝," 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐃𝐈𝐆 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢 These were the words of the Deputy Inspector General of Administration Police Service (DIG-APS), Mr. Gilbert Masengeli, CBS, OGW, SS, today morning during the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Guardroom at the National Police College Embakasi 'A' Campus. The Guardroom project is being undertaken through a partnership between the Administration Police Service and Stanbic Bank Kenya. Speaking during the event, Mr. Masengeli noted that the ceremony marked a significant milestone, laying a foundation for excellence and collaboration through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). He observed that the Guardroom symbolises discipline and order, serving as the first point of contact and creating the first impression for everyone entering the institution. In his remarks, Stanbic Bank Kenya CEO, Mr. Abraham Ongenge, reaffirmed the bank's commitment to being a trusted financial partner of the Administration Police Service. He highlighted the bank's support through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including the provision of sports kits and infrastructure projects, underscoring Stanbic's commitment to nation-building.
