I feel like he would’ve had to kill those Eldians anyway or at least most of them, looking at how much they believed in having to “redeem” themselves. If he brought them to Paradis, who’s to say they wouldn’t have schemed against him and his comrades? Don’t forget, the very same people that were sent to attack Paradis (Titan Shifters) were Eldians that felt that they had to pay for “their sins”.
