I'm not a fan of star trek... I will, however, be buying that deck and probably some booster packs. Because I know several people at my LGS that have already expressed that they hat that IP is coming to the game.

My issue with it personally is having them be full legal sets when magic IP is already so good! I know why they’re doing it and they wouldn’t keep doing UB if it didn’t make some new people try magic, but I feel like when this was Secret Lair only, it was much better. Cool weird treatments for SL is totally fine and allows people who are interested to do it - but this feels like it’s at the expense of the long time MTG fans since now they’re replacing what used to be Magic IP sets.

I want Vulcans and Romulans to count as elves. Borg need to be Zombies, Ferengi need to count as Goblins. Typal need to be opened up. That is my only issue.
