@teganclimate: Two huge data centres have been given the first green light in Cape Town, South Africa. I spent the past two days reading all about it, and had so many questions like what a data centre actually is, why would they be built in the first place, etc - so I tried to put that altogether here! I’m so tired. Why must we keep fighting for basic human rights, like the right to have a clean healthy environment, access to water, access to housing. Every basic human right must always be sold away to make the rich richer
