@montanadarby: ⬇️ Everything you need to know ⬇️ Antigua, Guatemala is the kind of place that makes you slow down and soak it all in. Cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, volcano views, and magical little corners around every turn ✨ 🌋 CANNOT MISS - Volcán Acatenango Staying overnight on top of a volcano with views of erupting Volcán de Fuego!! The most incredible experience! A bucket list moment! 🎨 BEST THINGS TO DO - Convento Santa Clara - Explore the cobbled streets - Arco De Santa Catalina - Iglesia De La Mercad - Parque Central - Choco Museo - Tanque De La Union 🌮 PLACES TO EAT/DRINK - Aqua - Rooftop Volcano Views - La Bruja - Vegan/Veggie Food - Las Palmas - Guatemalan Food/Music/Latin Dancing - Cafe Sky Bar - Amazing Volcano Views - Starbucks Antigua - The most Beautiful Starbucks - The Londoner - Traditional English Roast Dinners - Ulew Cocktail - Speakeasy Bar 🏨 WHERE TO STAY - Hotel y Arte Antigua Stunning little boutique hotel close to the town centre! Super clean and friendly staff! Antigua ended up being one of my favourite places in Guatemala! I absolutely loved it and would definitely return. I would recommend staying for 3-4 nights. If you’re doing the Acatenango hike, you also need to stay at least 1-2 nights before, in order to acclimatise, which will reduce your risk of altitude sickness before summiting the volcano. Would you add Antigua, Guatemala to your travel list? ✈️ • • • #guatemala #guatemalatravel #travelguatemala #guatemala🇬🇹 #creatorsearchinsights
