The reward, few and far between. You put in the effort, the work, the sacrifices to elevate your teams, but it doesn't always equate to something. It can be disheartening. It took someone to point out to me that I must be doing something right, and I asked how so. They asked, do you not realize that 3 of the 5 executive assistants (Director, Assistant Director, & Chief of Staff) first leader here was you?
