@cowbell389: Trying my best in this heat to make sure the hogs are as comfortable as possible. Don’t turn the inside of the wagon into a cemetery! #livestock #heat #trucktok #dead #fyp

nobody understands that if you put water in the trailer with the pigs all's it does is turn the trailer into a sauna Best thing you can do load them up get on the road and don't stop

Everyone saying watering them is bad, yes it is if you’re gonna just stay sitting but a spray down until the truck can move ain’t hurting anything

Real question why don’t they make a reefer bull hauler trailer or have a small water system to spray them inside. Like a sprinkler system

Hogs die from heat stroke if not cooled down. I've seen local fire departments hosing down hogs when it gets to hot for them. Hog haulers I've known have had hookup for misters inside trailers.

I would bet money that those hogs just got on that truck and he's getting ready to pull out. Not that he stopped on the way to miss the pigs at the magical public garden hose

wetting them down then hitting the road in my mind, I could be wrong (im just a nobody) but wouldnt that work in the same way the humans sweat and the air movement across the stock when you hit the road would cool them down? Question mark because I can admit I dont know it all but still I tested to know.

Y’all if you’re sitting still, you’ve got to water that trailer down you have to otherwise you gotta be moving down the road to keep the airflow moving goes for cattle and pigs. You can’t let a livestock truck sit water. It is not killing them.

There is a reason that livestock haulers don't legally have to follow the hours of service laws, that other drivers have to. Medically retired flatbeder and car hauler, and I know this.

for those who think this is wrong. husband is a hog farmer. load them, get them wet, take off, dont stop is the correct order. usually the trailers i have seen have a sprinkler system you hook hose up to but i have seen a couple that doesnt.
