@desschnell: Sometimes I have to stop and laugh because how is this my life? 😂 I accidentally turned posting my weight loss journey into a full-time job and that was never the plan. I wasn’t trying to become an influencer or work with brands. I was just trying to survive in a body I didn’t recognize anymore. I started sharing because I needed accountability, and somewhere along the way this little community grew into something so much bigger than me, and I realized maybe my story wasn’t just for me anymore. That’s why partnerships like Avida mean so much to me. They’ve never asked me to be someone I’m not. They’ve cheered me on through the messy parts, the setbacks, the wins, and everything in between. And that’s exactly how I want this page to feel too. You’ll never see me pretending life is perfect because it isn’t. I’m still figuring things out. But I’ve also learned that the biggest opportunities in my life have come from simply being willing to show up before I felt ready. If you would’ve told the girl who was nearly 300 pounds, terrified to walk into a gym, and almost too scared to hit “post” because she didn’t think anyone would care… that one day she’d be flying across the country because people believed in her story, she never would’ve believed you. I think that’s why I share so much of my life, even the messy parts. Because I hope someone else sees it and realizes they don’t have to have it all figured out either. If my story has taught me anything, it’s that your life can look completely different a year from now if you just keep showing up. My dreams looked impossible once too. Now I get to live pieces of them every single day. And if that’s possible for me, I really believe it’s possible for you too. 🤍
