i saw that u did ur toes without gloves and you scraped a bit of gel/rubber base with ur fingernail,minor contacts like this with uncured gel products may cause or flare up allergies (i’m a nail tech) always wear gloves ! when i do even my own hands i wear a glove on the working hand every time !

Be careful with any sort of gel polish that caused me to get contact dermatitis I can no longer do gel x of press ons

Vaseline around the cuticle when going into the uv lamp and after thick layer on the skin and when u go to bed first 2 days trust me the allergy doesn’t appear I haven’t had it last few times I did my nails

honestly, i’ve been doing gel nails since I was 17 non-stop and then one day I’ve just got an allergy like you do. Since then I cannot do gel/acrylic/shellac or even biab - all these give me allergy again. I don’t know what happened, but I only can wear normal nail polish now 🙄

it could be Dyshidrotic Eczema, i have it and it flares up whenever i do my nails and it only appears on your hands and feet

you are probably touching gel products with your bare skin, could be that a bottle have some uncured gel on itself, but i see you touching the gel. thats why its flaring up
