I read those books too. And one year for my niece birthday I thought her a bunch of them from a second hand store, these books turned her into a reader! So of course when my daughter was born, I was buying a third set in my lifetime 🥰

I read some of those books to my niece (she could read, but loved being read to at night) and even I liked them, and I'm GenX adjacent (late '64, so went to school with the first GenXers)!!!!
