@dr.matthewnagra: Apparently Bryan Johnson’s diagnosis of autoimmune gastritis (AIG) is now being blamed on his plant-based diet… without a shred of evidence. Vince Pitstick claims that vegan and vegetarian diets are risk factors for developing autoimmune diseases (including AIG), yet provides zero references. The American Gastroenterological Association’s Expert Review identifies factors like other autoimmune diseases, older age, female sex, and genetics as being associated with autoimmune gastritis. Diet isn’t explicitly identified as a risk factor in their review, and the available research on diet and autoimmune gastritis is extremely limited from my own search through the literature. Ironically, we do have randomized controlled trials showing that vegan and vegetarian diets can improve symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, which is itself an autoimmune disease. Why would you need to supplement anything in the first place if your diet is superior?

Chad :
Exactly. And Bryan does already have another autoimmune disease that he's been diagnosed with 2 decades. But for some reason, people are quickly trying to shift the blame to his current lifestyle

Donnie :
If live life correctly and you eat plants as humans are designed to there is objectively no supplementation needed.✌
