1 Tim 5:8, all phrases used are masculine. Taking it from the Hebrew context it’s men who provide for their home and from Genesis it is Adam that was given the task to provide for their family. Please read it again it uses phrases in the verse as He and his. Please don’t twist the scripture for clicks.

If the verse is actually put in context, it is referring to children, grand children, nephews, according to Amplified Bible & KJV, in taking care of their widow mothers, grandmothers. It's not even about husband & wife issue.
