@rewirewithmilli: prop firms can be both a blessing and a curse. they give you access to capital when you don’t have enough of your own - but they can also drag you into a dangerous cycle of resets, gambling and constantly blowing accounts. if you actually want to win the prop firm game, here are some of the biggest lessons I learned the hard way: 1⃣ trade micros instead of minis. your main job is to stay in the game. micros keep your drawdown smaller, give you more room to execute and make it much harder for one bad decision to violate the account. most blown accounts come from trading too much size, not from having a bad setup. 2⃣ focus on one account first. scaling bad habits across 5–10 accounts just means you lose 5–10× faster. start with one account and get it to a payout. prove to yourself that you can trade consistently first. only then start adding more accounts. 3⃣ prop trading is a small wins × multiple accounts game. this is where the real leverage comes from. you don’t need to make $1,000 on one account to make meaningful money. the real skill is being able to make a smaller amount on one clean trade and then copy that same execution across multiple accounts & prop firms. * make $200 on one clean trade * copy it across 5 accounts → $1,000 * across 10 accounts → $2,000 * across 20 accounts → $4,000 it's the same trade, same execution, same risk per account - but a completely different outcome. 4⃣ stop rushing payouts and minimum day rules. the pressure to finish everything in the minimum number of days is exactly what leads to overtrading and blown accounts. give yourself extra days on purpose. if the rule says 5 days, take 8–10. the goal is to get the payout - not to prove how quickly you can get there. rushing creates emotional trading. giving yourself more time removes pressure and allows you to trade much calmer. 5⃣ trade base hits, not home runs. prop firm drawdown rules - especially trailing drawdown - are not always built for huge runners unless you’ve already created a significant buffer. the amount of times I had a runner, watched it retrace and then ended up blowing the account is painful to think about. take clean, repeatable profits. a few hundred dollars can be enough. every time you try to force a massive trade, you’re putting the entire account at risk for one idea. base hits = consistency → consistency = payouts. prop firms are simply a tool. for the first 2.5 years I treated them like a casino and burned mid five figures in fees buying challenges, resetting accounts and trying to make money as quickly as possible. everything changed when I started treating prop trading like a scalable business. small, repeatable base hits → consistent payouts → adding more accounts → increasing cashflow. prop firms don’t reward the trader who makes the most money in one day. they reward the trader who can stay in the game, collect payouts and scale consistently. what are your biggest prop firm lessons? *disclaimer: trading is not a get rich quick scheme. it takes a lot of effort, learning and commitment to become consistently profitable. these are simply lessons I learned from 3 years of prop trading. #tradingforbeginners #howtotrade #tradingjourney #tradingmindset #propfirms

Do you copy trade on multiple accounts with the same account size or do you combine them same sizes in different groups?
