You're missing the point. Saying Ketil is a good guy doesn't mean slavery is good. A person's worst action doesn't automatically erase every other part of who they are. Vinland Saga goes out of its way to show that Ketil is compassionate, forgiving, and genuinely tries to avoid unnecessary suffering, while also exposing his cowardice and hypocrisy. If the author wanted him to be nothing but evil, he would've written him that way. Reducing him to slave owner=evil person completely ignores the nuance the story is built around✌️😭
