forgot to mention that's attached to the stopper and the lift rod which can be a PITA to remove depending on age of everything. not just a simple pull it out and go...

I got one and it’s great and it’s not. The bottom doesn’t sit flush with the sink rim so water still pools around the chrome and stuff just sits
