@egertonuni: CANDLE LIGHTING CELEBRATION The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Department of Literature, Languages and Linguistics, Egerton University, cordially invites students, staff, alumni, and members of the public to a Candle Lighting Celebration in honour of the life and service of Prof. Catherine Wawasi Kitetu. Join us as we gather in prayer, tribute, music, and reflection to celebrate the remarkable legacy of a distinguished scholar, mentor, colleague, and teacher whose dedication to academic excellence and service touched countless lives. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, 16th July 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the FASS Grounds.
