@generationalstrength8: In reality, parents are not setting this standard for their kids probably because they aren’t doing it themselves. Kids don’t know what’s best for them. It is our duty as parents to lead and guide them. As a parent, it is not our job to make our kids happy 100% of the time. Because what is best for them is not what they always like. We are not friends that tell them everything they want to hear. Think of all the things we make our kids do.. but working out is not as essential? Their health doesn’t matter? #raisingkids #parenting #familyfitness #motivation #kids
My kid hates going to jiujitsu but guess who goes to jiujitsu 3x a week 😮 it’s almost as if I’m the parent!!!!!

They hate it until the day they move away. And then realize that you’re right. It’s the sacrifice a true parent makes.

My parents made me be good at school, play a sport and play an instrument. Guess what I do in adulthood? I’m fit, make great money and still play the guitar

Leading by example is key as well! If you want to have healthy strong children, you need to also live that lifestyle.

Whatever standards you put in your home will spill over into adulthood. My mom banned sodas and I can’t remember the last time I had one honestly. Yes it’s hard but what’s harder? Being fit or having poor health habits?

Workout? Well aren't you just the biggest baddest daddy ever. Now me, I let my kids play the sports they chose. Imagine that.

My kids just see me working out and they join ❤️my daughter always wants to come with me to the gym because I go. Never forced them, I talk to them about the importance of working out and nutrition. They want to join me and I love it, but yet I now make them as in they have to be consistent too

Well :
I cant even believe parents are asking that question. You let them play outside from a young age, sign them up for 1 or 2 sports, & stay active as a family.

I do my pregnancy stretches occasionally infront of my 4 yr old and she loves to join me. Lil girl can do a 30 second plank! She doesn’t have to join me every single time considering she’s a toddler and I’m not as active as I was because yk pregnant but, I love when she’s interested

What if my kids hate exercise because I made them do it? Are your kids going to hate cupcakes and candy bars when they’re older since that’s all you provide? Not sure that’s how it works…

Yes 🙌🏼 I intentionally wait until my kids wake up in the morning and are ready for me to begin my workout. And guess what? 99% of the time they say wait mom let me get my mat and weights and they join me 🥰
