Not a parent, but as a teacher when I plan a fun game or a movie, there’s always a few kids who complain that they’re bored. I keep it together at school but I cry on the drive home. 😂 I’m just sensitive tho

No but I just bought my daughter a car and she proceeded to tell me “it sucks that it’s a 2004 without Bluetooth. I mean I like it but it’s just older than my friends’ cars” like what?! Never as a mom have I wanted to choke out my child lol.

Kids are probably tired. Cranky. Maybe overstimulated from the day. Don’t take it personally. Your kids will benefit from time spent with you, regardless if it’s working on a puzzle together at home or a fun day out. Your kids will (eventually) appreciate your effort, not today, but someday. You are doing great.
