Why did this man have the passports to begin with ? If you always follow the rule you will loose out. I took my child on plenty of holiday I didn’t ask the dad and never had any issues at the airport. She is protecting this man to much

Correct….but if you go to the courts and say their father will not give you their passports and he has no valid reason for keeping them and or allowing them to travel they will give u an emergency order for them to travel!! Mum is a lawyer for family law!!

Why does he have the children’s passport in the first place. I feel like passports birth certificates e.c.t are something the primary caregiver keeps hold of it’s their only form of ID. If it’s that much of an issue then apply for a court order

My ex withheld the children’s passports despite my solicitor sending him a letter. I took him to court this year and now have a court order saying the passports can be cancelled. They have now been cancelled and applied for new ones, waiting for that now. Take control back and go to court!

Just because he’s got a PR doesn’t grant him to do whatever he wants sis. You can go to court for a specific court order to get an order for issues like yours & you can get legal aid to cover these. Your situation sounds like post separation abuse
