Actually, the headlines are misleading. Louisiana isn't making school segregation legal again. What's happening is that some decades-old federal desegregation court orders are being ended, meaning certain school districts are no longer under federal court supervision. Public schools still can not legally segregate students by race because Brown v. Board of Education remains the law.

Baby in my little town here in Louisiana it would be some things going down to block that all the way! We don’t see color we see people! We all have love and respect for each other! And if someone is in need everyone is there don’t matter the color of your skin! We have a little club in town and on any given Friday and Saturday night the place is packed with all skin colors! There’s never any fighting or going against each other because we all family! The world needs more of that!

Segregation wasn’t really about going to school with white folks, it was about the Resources that Blacks people wasn’t getting that the white folks was getting. All the Resources was going to them and not to us. Dr. MLK fought for black people Equality

Born & raised myself (NOLA) maybe it’s for the better. We excel more than them anyways, that’s why they always want to marginalize us and keep us behind because they know how great we are. I wouldn’t stress over it. I wouldn’t come and make a post on it. Let them do it because at the end of the day we always find a way to survive and thrive.
