@cat_the_vet: Our hedgehogs need our help! At my practice We have had two young hedgehogs brought in this week, very thin and dehydrated and I are worried our local wildlife is starting to struggle in this heat. If you have hedgehogs in your garden, you can help them by leaving out shallow bowls of water with some pebbles in the bottom to keep them stable and allow insects to perch as they drink. You can also leave put out a saucer of wet cat food overnight, that will definitely be appreciated and help with their hydration. If you are worried about cats or other wildlife getting the food, you can build a hedgehog cafe!
