@tyler_therealtor: As soon as the mob left the Sunset Strip, rock n’ roll took over, and the Strip reined for decades as the mecca of rock and alternative music. But once venues figured out they could cash in on the dream of playing on the Strip, the industry moved on. Would you rather live on the Sunset Strip during its rock n’ roll heyday, or today? Let me know in the comments.👇 For more on this listing, click my link in bio 🔗 📍 8249 Marmont Ln, Los Angeles, CA 90069 💰 $4,749,000 🏡4-bed, 4-bath 📐3,455 sqft 🕴Listed by Tyler Neale, Branden Williams, Rayni Williams, Conrad Adamczak 📲Call (323)578-4949 for a private showing Looking for a home in — or anywhere else in LA? I lived in Los Angeles for 11 years and have been back numerous times. The area has fallen out of it unfortunately. I feel like most of the world is like that but it really bothered me how much of the soul is gone out of LA. And yes it is Hollyweird. Still love the place cos it made me, but had to leave. Hope it sorts itself out. 🤘🏼

Who is Pat Dalton :
I lived there in the 80’s. It was everything you’ve heard. I still hang out occasionally. The billboard Sloan over the whiskey has totally put the nail in sunset strip coffin.

My stilettos wore paths into the sidewalks on the strip in the 80's, just going to clubs like the Whiskey, the Roxy, Gazzarri's and the Rainbow and finding parties. I'm glad I got to experience what it was back then. Kind of a shame what it is now.

I spoke with Ray Anthony a few times in my life and he told me he opened for Ciro"s on their first night. He's still alive

Wouldn’t want to live there today. Having a house on Miller Dr. 2005-2015 was incredible. That moment in time is gone. Your videos ARE SO GOOD!! Thank you!

This is the right way to promote a listing. History lesson and opinion then on to the product / inventory. Bravo

Ahh, “The Strip!” Spent many a fun drunken night in that area between The Whiskey, The Roxy , On The Rox, The Rainbow and The Viper Room!

My mom would tell me stories of going to the whiskey . She saw Korn and 311 there before they were anyone she said . She used to be there so often she got in for free she would brag lol

I visited LA in the summer of 1991 and me and my friend went to the Whiskey A Go Go and saw a few “glam” bands. This was right before the whole grunge scene took over music and practically eliminated hard rock and heavy metal in the 90’s.

I’d pay to live on the strip back in the 60s, but I’d pass it up for free now
