Just wanted to pin this to answer all the same questions & comments popping up! 🙏 My little girl is 9, turns 10 next month. She has ADHD + Jacobsen Syndrome, which comes with impulse control struggles, emotional regulation issues & sensory differences – this is not about “not hiding scissors well enough” or “bad parenting”. We live in a tiny 2-bed flat with 4 kids, I’ve hidden scissors, razors & everything I possibly can… she always finds them. She’s even done this at school in Year 5 – how do you hide things there? 🤷♀️I should be able to trust my 9-year-old to go to the toilet without me hovering outside the door! She also has sensory needs she’s tried eating soap, shaving foam, washing up liquid, putting full pot of salt in food… and I caught her eating a defrosted peri peri chicken skewer I’m constantly securing everything I can. When she does these things, we sit down & talk through consequences every single time. Sometimes it was even my eldest daughter (who has autism) stepping in and making it worse! 😅 Yes it’s annoying especially right before holidays when I want nice photos but hair grows back. When she realises what she’s done she gets embarrassed, and I let her face that natural consequence so she learns for next time. I don’t mind the comments at all it’s blowing up & helping me earn more which is a huge bonus! She’ll look back at this video one day & laugh her head off anyway 🥰 Hair grows back, memories last forever right? 💪 Thank you to everyone being kind too, I see you all! ❤️

I never liked bangs because it would Urry and if you look at it, she’s always cutting up the front hairs. Maybe it’s a sensory issue.
