I think she wrote herself into a hole with the main series where the story is not going to make sense with only Violets point of view so she needs to give more information through others in this book so that when we read book 4 we won’t be so confused

She said it was important… I think every Novella should bring importance to the main story, kind of like throne of glass… it’s all important… it should be important. I mean the whole point of a series right everything’s supposed to tie into each each other.

One of the reasons I hate reading an unfinished series… I’ve read a series before where the author just stopped writing the series for another more popular series and it’s been like 6 years. Let’s not start releasing info of side quests or characters without finishing the series first. IMO this sucks

Idk about anyone else but I’m tired of novellas becoming so normalized on major series😒 like I just do not care, give me the main story or nothing. When a series has a humongous following and they’re just throwing out random scraps I find it very annoying and makes me not want to read it at all.

Why do people think novellas should be skippable? They’re still a part of the story; they’re just in a shorter format. Not all parts of a story need to be told through a full length novel.

Eh normally I would agree with this but I think it’s different with Rebecca. There’s definitely going to be some easter eggs and new info in this book, esp if we get Naolin and/or one of the First Riders’ Threshing stories!
