A miscarriage means losing an implanted pregnancy hCG, placental tissue, the real thing. The pill just holds hormones flat, suppressing ovulation that means no egg, no implantation and nothing to lose. The withdrawal bleed is closer to a period than a pregnancy loss. I’m no pill advocate either, but labeling this “#HealthFacts” is just misinformation dressed up as science. That’s not helpful, that’s BS!

This is not true. The pill mimics the post ovulation phase not pregnancy. There is no hCG the hormone needed for pregnancy. The uterus lining does not thicken. Basically your body thinks you already ovulated

Birth control is what helped me no longer be in such pain I could function as my periods were so bad I was vomiting and shaking for 4 days a month

i got on birth control (bc) when I was 16 because of cysts. yeah it made them not affect me. but hey my depression and suicidal tendencies got worse. but hey I didnt have a period for 4 years. but hey I lost myself and the connection to my body. getting off of it was a life saver. I now have 2 planned children trying for #3 and feel like myself. wanna know what we do when we want adult time without baby? protection, calender tracking, and ovulation test to see when we need to hold off. started eating better, exercising regularly, and been managing my mental health and haven't had cyst issues since.

The pill stops ovulation, not simulate pregnancy. The reason they kept the week of sugar pills in is because women are used to menstruating monthly but you can keep taking them and not bleed. This guy is wrong
